Today we got up early and were picked up by a safari type
jeep. It took an hr. long drive to get to an elephant camp.
Then we got to ride on
elephants
and then we got up close and personal to feed them before they were set loose to forage for food.
The ride was very scary as we were so high and it is not a smooth ride. I kept feeling like I would fall off. While on the ride we saw Zebra, antelope, mongoose, warthogs, Kudu, and giraffe. It was a very neat experience, we came back this afternoon to pack up our suitcases as we will be turning in the motorhome tomorrow afternoon. The ride was near the grounds of the exclusive Sun City Resort.
It is hard to believe that this part of our adventure is coming to a close.
