This morning at 3:30 am
they notified us that our hot air balloon ride had been cancelled due to
weather, thus this morning we took a self-drive safari into Pilanesberg Nat Park.
Before we left the
campground a baboon got into the trash can right beside our motorhome.
Then a campground worker came
along with a sling shot and chased him off. They say it is a daily
occurrence, We drove to a salt lick where we sat eating breakfast
while watching animals coming and going to the water hole and salt lick.
My croissant which was to come with my breakfast came late as a monkey stole it
right out of the kitchen and they had to heat up another one.
A girl at
the next table had her muffin stolen right off her table by another
monkey. A bird kept coming trying to steal food off my plate.
Monkeys seem to think our motorhomes contain food
We then drove on to Johannesburg to return the motorhomes and then be transported to the
hotel.-
